“Wow. It’s so different now.”

Yeah, we get that a lot from our alumni. In just the last few years, we’ve moved into a new 63,000 square foot location with two levels dedicated to floor space. We’ve added a Starbucks®, a Staples® Office Supply store, a Nike® area and a Clinique® Counter. We expanded our Technology Center to accommodate hands-on demos and interactive learning, and we've introduced the campus to a new world of digital content consumption.

We’ve also nearly tripled the attendance of our first-Saturday children’s book literacy events. We distribute nearly $15,000 in monetary or textbook scholarships and close to $20,000 in technology scholarships every year. We’re a HUGE contributor to the annual Tucson Festival of Books, and we’ve expanded to ten (count ‘em, ten) on- and off-campus locations.

The simple fact is The University of Arizona BookStores has always existed for the student and because of the student—even after graduation. Your contributions to the campus and to the organization mean as much today as they did when you were attending college. And your purchases—in the store or online—still support the academic pursuits of our UA students;your fellow Wildcats.

What’s ours is yours, right? And we can tell you from having seen it—when a UA student receives that scholarship, when a student-led club gets its funding, when a little kid gets a new book—those smiles, those thank yous…those are yours, too.
