Adobe For Faculty & Staff

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for Mac and Windows is now available for faculty and staff download on University owned equipment from the software license web site.

The University of Arizona has signed an enterprise license with Adobe for multiple products available to faculty, staff, and on University-owned machines. Products included are:

  • Creative Cloud—a software platform that allows users to design, share and publish content across all media and devices. Acrobat Pro is included within this license.
  • Document Cloud with Adobe Sign—a digital document communications platform that streamlines, tracks and automates digital documents and workflows. Use existing documents to create digital forms or build them online.
  • Adobe Experience Manager Assets—a digital asset management (DAM) solution to give UA faculty and staff the ability to access, share, and collaborate on academic and marketing digital assets internally, and managed distribution (free or paid) of digital assets externally. The AEM—Assets implementation planning process will begin in January 2016 as a separate project.
  • Included in the download and on the website are installation instructions.

These solutions are covered in a three-year license through November 2018. This campus license will generate savings for departments of monies budgeted for Adobe software, and is primarily funded by Student Affairs and the Office of the CIO.
